Covering around 100 acres of vineyards, cork oak groves, olive trees, carob trees and arbutus, Herdade Barranco do Vale is open to visitors.
GUIDED TOURS
A rewarding experience
Guided tours of the vineyards are an excellent way to learn about the wines we produce.
The guided tour of the vineyards begins with a presentation on the history of the estate and the varieties of grapes grown. You then take a walk through the vineyards, where you can observe the different stages of growth of the vines, depending on the time of year and weather and soil conditions.
At the end of the visit, visitors have the opportunity to taste some of the estate's wines.
WINE TASTINGS
A sensorial experience
Wine tasting is a sensory experience that allows participants to appreciate the characteristics of different wines. During the wine tasting, participants usually taste a selection of wines, escorted by the owners.
Our range includes 3 wines classified as grand reserve, 3 reserve red wines, 6 reserve white wines and 2 reserve rose wines.
You can try the whole range or just a selection.
WINE PAIRING MEALS
A complete experience
Wine-pairing meals are a complete experience combining food, wine and culture. Throughout the wine meal, participants have the opportunity to taste a variety of wines, paired with typical dishes from the region.
The meal starts with an appetizer, followed by a main course and a dessert. Wines are served throughout the meal, paired with the various dishes.

Jazz nas Adegas
This initiative by Silves City Hall, in partnership with Herdade Barranco do Vale, aims to galvanise the further north wines of the Silves region, in a symbiosis between wine, the estate and music, offering the public a unique experience in a very unusual venue for a jazz concert - our old animal corral.
